Palmerston Grange - Shanklin

Quirky place with great little and airy rooms. Particularly good and absolutely perfect setting and restaurants and bars walking distance to the hotel. Great weekend in this very very nice area.

The beds are very comfy to sleep on.

The breakfast selection was really good with generous portions.

The shower pressure was disappointingly weak .

Spotless rooms with bunk beds for the children, top-notch services. Location really close to beach and town and bus and the garden or the bar area. For tea or coffee visit Graces Bakery nearby.

Charming stay with great vibes

Just had a 2-night getaway and it was super cozy! The hosts were really cute, and the whole place felt bright and clean. I enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. Only thing I noticed was the shower space was kinda tight, not much room to move around.

The hosts were helpful. The double room was quite small and cleanliness wasn't up to par, with spills left untouched. The shower's performance deteriorated over our stay, disappointing for an en suite. While breakfast was plentiful, the self-serve setup creates chaos during busy mornings. It's just an average experience that didn't meet the high expectations set by prior reviews.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the cozy feel of the room and the delicious breakfast every morning! There were lovely spots to unwind, like the beautiful garden and a comfy lounge area. The shower could've used a little more pressure, but it didn't ruin my experience at all-totally worth it! 😊

Perfect little getaway

We had such a nice time here! The ground floor room was spacious with a huge bay window. Simon and Leslie were super friendly, and breakfast was one of the best we've had! The bar area was cozy too. Just a short walk to the beach. Only issue was the parking got a bit tight on weekends.

The staff were commendable, providing attentive service throughout the stay. Dining options included aged USDA prime steaks, flavorful. The room was a bit small for comfort, and I was disappointed with cold plates served with meals, impacting the overall dining experience. Parking was a consistent challenge, coupled with relatively high drink prices on the island.

We loved the spacious master bedroom with a bunk bed room for the kids! 😄 Perfect for family time. The breakfast was a highlight, but the bathroom layout could use some tweaking.

Palmerston Grange is elegantly decorated with a charming atmosphere. The rooms are well-appointed and accessible, complemented by beautiful gardens.
